MEET THE OWNERS

4th generation Mainer, Emily, comes from a long line of lumberjacks and thoroughly enjoys being in the woods herself. Much of her life was spent on her Dad's farm, where she developed a deep love and appreciation for the outdoors. Whether it was snowmobiling, hiking, or gardening she has always found interest in outdoor activities. This interest never faded and eventually led her to pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, where the understanding and connection to the natural world only grew stronger.

If she had to choose, Emily would say fishing, bird hunting and hiking are her favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors.
Adam, 8th generation Mainer, comes from a long line of tradesmen, who have been hunting the Maine woods for centuries. Adam's family has been coming to the Jackman area since before he was born and continued to do so throughout his childhood. Adam was introduced to hunting and fishing at a young age, and spent much of his time outdoors doing these activities, along with boating, hiking, and snowmobiling. Some of his family has been established in the area for quite some time and it has always been on his radar to move up here someday.

Depending on the season, you can find Adam hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling in his free time.

Emily and Adam have known each other their whole lives, but officially started dating right out of high school and have been together since. Between Adam's family camp in West Forks, and Emily's family camp in Eustis, they have spent the last 10 years enjoying the Maine woods and waters together and are passionate about making it a lifestyle. They are both extremely excited to be taking on this business and to become a connected part of the community.
When they aren't working, Emily and Adam love to spend quality time with their two dogs, Barry and Uno. They have been bringing their pups to camp with them for almost 4 years now and are happy to say that the dogs enjoy it just as much as they do.

They know how tough it can be to have a change of ownership in business, especially when there's established clientele, but they hope that you'll give them and North Country Cabins a shot. Stop into the office or give them a call, they're excited to be here and want to meet you!
