Fall
Fall months bring prime hunting opportunities to this region- bird, deer, moose, and bear hunting are all popular during this time of year. You can also enjoy hiking, biking, ATV riding, and leaf-peeping during these months.
Summer
Boating, white-water rafting, fishing, hiking and ATVing are in full swing during these months. Grab a kayak, take a swim, or catch a round of golf at Moose River golf course; there's endless opportunities for fun in the summer sun.
Bear baiting starts in late July.
Winter
Snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing are a few of the popular activities during the winter months in Jackman. Several birds can be hunted until the end of December in Maine and coyote hunting is permitted year-round, with specific rules for nighttime hunting.
Rentals

Spring
Hiking, kayaking, canoeing and fishing are a few favored springtime activities. General open-water fishing season is typically from April to Sept. with certain regulations depending on the area. Trails for ATVing usually open in late April or May.
